Do you live and breathe software development and the Social Web? We are a fast-growing software company headquartered in metro Detroit area who builds products (and solutions) which enable our customers build their own web based communities. One such customer has a need for a Telligent Community Server Administrator. We believe that command in Server Administration comes with working closely with development teams involved in such areas of programming.
Job Purpose:
This Community Server Administrator position will be contributing towards integrating SharePoint with Telligent's flagship product, Community Server.
Requirements:
- Do you wake up every day loving to manage programmers who write code. Which means, you should have been a developer in the past?
- Experience using ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server. Strong client side skills (CSS/JavaScript) are a big plus.
- Experience with database platforms such as Oracle 10G and MS SQL Server is a must
- Prior development experience with SharePoint, Active Directory, and/or Exchange
- You must be able to legally work in U.S.
- You must be able to work fulltime in the metro Detroit area.
Not required, but helpful:
- Exposure to projects using pragmatic practices.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- Prior exposure to social networking sites/communities
- Experience with Community Server.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
